Palin vs. Letterman

Have you been following the Sarah Palin, David Letterman saga? It's gone on a lot longer than Dave expected.

Last night Dave took a second shot at an apology. This time, he has all the information.

In brief, Sarah Palin was at a Yankees game in NYC. Dave said something like during the 7th inning, her daughter was knocked up by Alex Rodriguez. Dave swears he was talking about Palin's 18 year old daughter, Bristol. Turns out the 14 year old was with Palin at the game. Here is his first apology.

There is a group leading the charge to fire Letterman called firedavidletterman.com. CBS recently resigned Letterman to a new contract. Is Dave's apology too little too late?

New Bargain Basement Price for Yankees Tickets

I am a baseball fan. Specifically, I am a Mets fan. Baseball fans either love or hate the Yankees. I fall into the latter category. When the Yankees decided to close the old stadium, I thought I have to go. It was difficult to have a good time, but I survived.

Well, this year with a new 1.5 billion dollar Yankee Stadium, I wanted to check it out. Turns out the Mets play the Yankees at Yankee stadium in June. Great! I was ready to pay $100 for each ticket. Try $900 each. I was a wee bit upset. I am getting to a point here.

Now I hear the Yankees are slashing prices to fill the stands. People are not buying the expensive $2,600.00 seats and it looks bad on TV. My tickets are still $900, but I am glad someone is getting a bargain.Check out this tour of the stadium.
What a concert, ball game or experience worth to you?

Woe is me

Here is Blog Contributor Patrick Baldwin

Why is it always a bigger story when the person who can’t pay his bills has too much money to begin with?
The latest “woe is me” celebrities are New York Yankees Johnny Damon and Xavier Nady. Apparently all their finances were frozen due to the Stanford Scandal.
Excuse me, but both of these guys will get more than enough in their next paycheck to cover groceries. After all as one esteemed blog reader (and former blog model) points out, “what he makes on one(1) paycheck is what we working stiffs take a whole year to make.”
On an interesting side note, is there one celebrity or group of celebrity you feel could stand to lose their credit cards for a while?
