Scientists Levitate Mouse

Scientists at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, CA have found a way to levitate small animals using a "superconducting magnet that generates a field powerful enough to levitate the water inside living animals."

Yuanming Liu, one of the researchers, speaking of the mouse they levitated: "It actually kicked around and started to spin, and without friction, it could spin faster and faster, and we think that made it even more disoriented," They decided to mildly sedate the next mouse they levitated.

Take This Pill And Live Longer?

Unpopular? Blame Your Parents

Were you the last one picked out of the line-up for a volleyball game in high school? Maybe it had something to do with your ability or maybe you just were not popular. There were more similarities between the social standings of identical twins than fraternal twins. That's not all, they think there may be an evolutionary explanation for this. So, add friends or lack of friends to the list of things you can blame your parents for.
