Here is commercial you may not have spotted during the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade this morning. That's because many NBC stations around the nation (mostly in the south) banned PETA's vegan inspired spot. PETA claims the little girl just "tells it like it is, for the turkey." The stations say it is not in the spirit of the parade.

Fish Abuse in Seattle
How does one measure fish abuse? PETA seems to know the answer. That's why they're trying to stop workers of Seattle's Pike Place Market from demonstrating their fish tossing skills for the American Veterinary Medical Association.PETA says why not use rubber fish. I hope someone talks to the fish and see what they think.

Google Hires Goats
Sure it's easy to just brush (sorry) this story aside, but it's pretty interesting if you're a goat. You get a ride to Google's Mountain View, CA headquarters and you can graze and poop (am...fertilize the land) all you want.Google used to pay people to mow the lawn until they came up with this greener solution. So basically, these goats are taking away jobs from Americans. I'd like to see some work visas. First we had to worry about immigrants, now we have to worry about goats. Good Grief.
By the way, Yahoo also has a similar deal with goats.
Not everyone is happy about this arrangement. PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) is worried about how these goats are transported to and from Google's headquarters. Is it possible to make PETA happy? I suppose if they were happy, they might be out of business. Carry on, PETA.

Fish Tale with Proof
Here is blog contributor Patrick Baldwin:By now, it's likely you've seen the video of the guy fighting a shark. (If not, click here)
The short version is these guys were out spear fishing when a shark got hungry. Now the guy who killed the shark is being forced to defend his actions. Really? I know the PETA peeps get upset when any animal dies but it's a freaking SHARK. Did you not see Jaws? Or does a 2 hour wrestling match with the most genetically engineered killing machine on the planet really sound like something anybody would do for kicks?

Sexy PETA Commercial Banned from Super Bowl
When it comes to Television advertisement, sex is used to sell everything from jeans to deodorant to hair products. So, why not PETA? The Super Bowl (this Sunday) is known for its Ads. Some people only watch for the commercials. NBC banned PETA from the Super Bowl saying its Ad promoting vegetarianism is too sexy. The 30 second spot shows lingerie clad women licking pumpkins, fondling asparagus and says vegetarians have better sex. I know you want to see 'Veggie love,' so here it is.
PETA is getting more publicity for this spot than it could have afforded. With s0me 30 second spots selling for $3 million, PETA is better off with the controversy.
