Angelina Jolie, Jon & Kate, and Nadya Suleman are not the only people with large families! Madonna is going to adopt another baby from Malawi. She has two biological children: Lourdes (born 1996) and Rocco (born 2000), in addition to David Banda (born 2005), the Malawian baby she adopted in 2006.

I hope these families are unusual. The US will conduct the census next year and that might give us a clear picture. This article suggests large families are unusual.
