What to Splurge on?
Should you splurge on a shiny new car or concert tickets? Which will make you happier? I am glad you asked. Research shows that you'll be happier if you choose the experience over the possession. The car will lose its luster, but you'll always have the memory of your favorite vacation even if you're still paying it off. What's your next splurge?

I tend to agree. My best memory of last year was my vacation, which was a splurge for me.
ReplyDeleteIt's hard for me to think of a posession that made me happy for a long time. I do enjoy the memories of beach vacations when there is snow on the ground or when the smell of a specific food takes me back to a vacation spot. There is nothing like it. That's why I was thinking this is a year for a huge vacation. It should be cheaper to fly and why not? When are we going to do it? When we are old and decrepit? I think not.
ReplyDeletedoesn't it depend on who the memories are made with?
ReplyDeleteGood memories are good memories. Why qualify them?
